A Morochey's energy is basically her life-force. If she runs out, she dies. If she runs low, she's in critical danger. If Master Typhoon hadn't found her and zapped her, things would have been looking pretty grim for Eva. Attempting a transformation that she knew would fail, just so Darius would sense her dying, may have been reckless, but it also may have saved her life.
