The tradition of adoption made it possible for large clans to survive throughout the ages. It allowed for biodiversity in the populations, while still maintaining a central family-like structure in Morochey communities. Adoption is deeply ingrained in Morochey culture. The creation myths in Insights of Oracle even say that The World adopted the human race, and several life forms in the beginning. Though some clans adopt more prolifically than others, and many are wary of adopting clanless Outsiders, the practice is still considered a sacred rite.
